如果你已是菩萨｜If You were Already a Bodhisattva

当你的亲人感受无常之苦

那时你才会感受到

自己的修行与福德是有多么浅薄

你不能把最圆满的结果

带给你的至亲

那时你才会深感痛绝

但是

如果你已是菩萨

就会有更好的方法去利益他们

如果你已是菩萨

就不会只是深陷情绪而束手无策

如果你已是菩萨

就不会执着于小事而影响大局

如果你已是菩萨

就能引领着至亲从痛苦走向安乐

而不只是随着彼此的业力

奔波、纠缠、难过

如果你已是菩萨

就能了知

一切皆为虚幻而在无执中

全然的利益众生

如果你已是菩萨

即便所有的事情

是现在这样的处境

你也不会慌张、落魄、无为

所以

哪怕不是为了自己

只是为了我们的至爱至亲

也请拼尽全力

去修行

去积累善业

在无常显现时

如果我们已是菩萨身

就能够做好一切

When your relatives had the pain of impermanence,

You might feel that how superficial your practice, fortune and merits were.

When you couldn’t bring the most perfect result to your relatives,

You would feel that pain deeply.

However,

If you were already a bodhisattva,

There would be a better way to benefit them.

If you were already a bodhisattva,

You wouldn’t just shrivel and be stuck in the mood.

If you were already a bodhisattva,

You wouldn’t focus on trivial details and ignore the whole picture.

If you were already a bodhisattva,

You could lead our relatives from pains to peace and happiness,

Rather than living in a rush, suffering from entanglements and being trapped by the sadness because of karma. 

If you were already a bodhisattva,

You would know everything is illusory and there is no attachment, 

Then dedicate yourself to benefit all sentient beings.

If you were already a bodhisattva,

Even if experiencing all the above miseries,

You wouldn’t be panic, lost, and defeated.

Therefore,

Even if not for ourselves,

But for our loved ones,

Please try our best

To practice,

And accumulate good karma.

When impermanence appears,

We could achieve anything

If we were already a bodhisattva.
